When do u get dual spec
Q: How will a brand new players know what a good leveling specialization is? Are they expected to know what site to visit and read up? A: We hope that most talent builds are decent for leveling.
Giving players a good ability at level 10 definitely helps with this. We are trying to avoid the traps of bad talents by just removing them altogether Unbridled Wrath, RIP. Survival is your first priority! Whether you are leveling or raiding, no matter what your role, staying alive is your first priority. And if you die while soloing, you're losing time. Sure, play healer spec and pay 50g for making the stupid shattered sun dailies, more than you earn with those dailies, and then, farm again to get another 50g for changing to heal spec again to make raid.
After that pay Dual spec fixed that. I played many tbc servers since i left retail and dual spec feature is awesome, it makes people play all roles, change talents, rebuild his class. Even it makes the game more funny because you can explore new talent ideas in pvp and pve. I wont pay g for testing a talent sorry. Forget about the old tbc, tbc was the greatest expansion of all time, but it had lots of mistakes that were corrected in woltk.
Just my 2 cent about this feature. Originally Posted by Obnoxious. The "twenty nerds" in this case meaning the Staff? Instead of having to use mule characters to transfer items you get a shared tab.
Instead of having to go back to Org you get a 2nd spec. I would be all for this because it will help create dungeons groups much easier or allow people to have fun pvping around raid days.
It kills off hybrid specs. You might be confused by what I mean but I currently play the hybrid smite priest and plan to in TBC as well. Adding in Dual-spec means this type of spec is no longer needed as my guild would just ask me to use a full healing and full shadow spec and swap between them given the fight. This different spec which works around different spell usage than shadow would essentially be gone. Not against it but I think people under estimate how how quickly gearing for more than one spec will take.
I like the idea of dual specs for tbc. I cant see how it negatively affects anyone. Referring to the respec cost as a gold sink is a pretty lame argument i think, its more of a deterrent than gold sink imo.
I feel like raiding and arena are the end game for tbc, so why keep a meaningless barrier for respeccing when wanting to play one or another with the optimal spec.
